Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I'm Alice Egan, founder of SaaS Savvy. At Zendesk, I went from rookie Presales Solutions Consultant to closing $1M+ deals with San Francisco unicorns and UK fintechs.
But at the start of my Presales career, I didn’t know APIs from AWS! I was constantly anxious I’d be exposed as - dun dun - a tech sales poser. An imposter!
I tried coding, but it didn’t give me the words to talk to customers and the C-suite about our software, platform, or APIs - i.e., the job of any tech sales AE or SC.
So I developed a unique framework for getting technical for tech sales - one that uses history for context and breaks down the key concepts that give you real, big-picture understanding.
This changed the game for me: I not only got promoted 3x in three years, but I got aligned to the company’s most lucrative territories. Learning to talk tech (not code it) also helped me:
- Buy a home
- Pay off my college loans
- Secure a job transfer to London
