Hi, I'm Alice
Hi, I'm Alice Egan, founder of SaaS Savvy.
I’m a former Zendesk Presales SC who went from “I don’t know what SaaS is” to closing $1M+ deals with SF unicorns and UK fintechs.
But at the start, I could barely follow technical conversations. After a wave of acquisitions, buyer questions shifted overnight from “Show me the product” to “What’s your API strategy?” and “How do you integrate with AWS?”
There was no training on cloud, platforms, or APIs — and “fake it ‘til you make it” doesn’t work when you’re leading technical conversations live, in real time.
So I built my own approach.
I dug into the history of computing, built a jargon glossary, and used books, podcasts, and real-world scenarios to finally understand how modern software actually works.
It changed everything.
Learning to talk tech — not code it — got me promoted 3× in three years and aligned to the most lucrative territories. It helped me buy a home, pay off my loans, move to London, and eventually start SaaS Savvy.
Today, I teach this same framework to Presales professionals worldwide. Because “I’m not technical” doesn’t cut it anymore — not when you’re selling cloud platforms, integrations, and AI.
